Visit to the Stanze del Vetro, Venice: An Experience in the Artistic History of Murano Glass

The MoCA Association invites its members to participate in a guided tour of the Stanze del Vetro on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice on July 5, 2026.
The tour will offer a glimpse into the history of Murano glass through its uses in art and design.

“The multi-year cultural project LE STANZE DEL VETRO was inaugurated with the opening of a new permanent exhibition space on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The space will host an annual series of monographic and group exhibitions dedicated to international artists who have used glass throughout their careers as an original means of expression and a means of exploring their own personal poetics. The aim is to showcase the material’s countless potential and bring glass back to the center of debate on the international art scene.”
